We make it simple to find the right program for your swimmer - no guesswork required.
Machine Aquatics has 12 locations in Maryland and Northern Virginia. Each location will have different program levels and schedules.
HOW TO BEGIN:
To begin, schedule your evaluation with our coaches. All new swimmers to our program will have an evaluation prior to acceptance of their registration for the team. This is an opportunity for our coaches to learn more about your swimmer and provide a recommendation on their best placement in our program.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
When you submit your evaluation request, our Team Administrators will connect you with one of our Site Directors to schedule your evaluation.
At the evaluation, we will assess your swimmer’s skills to place them in the right group.
Swimmers will need to be ready to get in the pool. They will need suit, goggles and cap.
Swimmers should be ready to swim for 15-20 minutes for our younger groups.
Swimmers in the more advance programs will attend a full workout with our coaches.
When the evaluation is complete, the coaches will provide you and your swimmer with a recommendation for their registration group.
WHICH PROGRAM IS RIGHT FOR YOU:
Our coaches will match your swimmer with the right level of program during their evaluation. Here are some of the details for each program.
MAINTENANCE: Swimmers who want to practice one day per week in a non-competitive program.
GEARS: Our developmental program for our 12 and under swimmers
HIGH PERFORMANCE: Our advanced program for swimmers who are 11-14 years old.
SENIOR: Beginner to Advanced programs for swimmers who are 13 and over, depending on abilities.
Additional detail about skill requirements and expectations for each competitive group is available.
Maintenance Programs: We offer two program groups for swimmers who do not want to participate in full season competitive groups. These are: Machine Maintenance/Technique and Fitness and the High School/Age Group Prep Programs.
